Last week, photos began circulating on social media showing an FDE AR-style carbine equipped for combat and sporting a Glock logo on the lower receiver. Of course, half of the Internet got really excited, and the other half started yelling, "FAKE! FAKE!"

In the spring of 2021, the last time anyone was excited about the prospect of a Glock AR, there were reports of patents by Glock unrelated to the Glock pistol, such as a mid-length tubular gas piston, by Glock on some Recorded for interesting weapon characteristics. Along with some AR style schematics. One patent was for a quick-change barrel mechanism.
The design drawings showed a reciprocating charging handle in a position above the barrel, but as we can see from the leaked images, this new Glock AR carbine appears to have a standard mil-spec charging handle on the back of the receiver.

I saw in a question that asked if a G19 with a triglo site would fit and the answer was yes if the site was removed. But the perfect list for 19 starts with Gen 2.
